Question about the 430HP LS3 engine controller kit

Default Question about the 430HP LS3 engine controller kit

Hello,

I've come across the engine controller kits for the LS3 at summit racing, they look appealing as I'm planning a build where an LS3 is swapped into an old 3-series bmw. There's a nice kit that has the engine mounts, transmission mounts and crossmember, headers, and exhaust system from the headers-back. There are no catalytic converters in the pre-fabricated exhaust system, however the controller kit has a pre-cat oxygen sensor and post-cat oxygen sensor. What can I do about the second oxygen sensor? What are my options? Thanks.

It is easy for a tuner to disable the post-cat oxygen sensors.
What state are you in and how strict are the emissions tests?

Curious - are you installing in a E36? Have you seen any E36 with LSx swap build threads?

It is an e36, and emissions isn't a factor as it will be a track car. What about o2 sensor emulators for the rear sensors and leaving the front ones alone and letting them do their job normally?

What ECU kit are you referring to? The GMPP kit? If so, it only uses 2 O2 sensors, not 4.
