Hi guys first time poster, long time reader here. Hoping to get some advice from the pro's.
I've just finished converting my holden hz tonner to ls1/4l60e. Motor came out of a 2002 vx ss commodore. My tuner came round today to disable the vats and mafless tune it for me but he couldn't read the computer. It wouldn't communicate at all at first but then it communicated and he could access data and codes but still can't read it to change the tune and disable vats. We then tried the computer in his car and it did the exact same thing. Any ideas on what would cause this? Or am I going to have to find another ecu? Seems strange as I saw the motor running in another car 4 months ago with the same computer
