Changed injector size, will car run with old tune?
Changed injector size, will car run with old tune? I swapped from 36lb to 50lb injectors when I did my new intake manifold and fuel rails. Will the car start and be drivable to a shop without having someone change the size in the tune first?
Nope nope nope, any change in injector sizing will require a re-tune to get the proper fueling.
A small size change *may* be able to run somewhat, but it's not ideal and you will quickly foul plugs and mess up rings etc. due to insanely rich conditions.
Or keep the stock injectors on there to drive the car to the tuner and just swap out to the larger injectors after it's strapped to the dyno.
