Default Lincoln Nebraska

Hi All,

I travel quite a bit for work and this week I am in Lincoln Nebraska until Wednesday. I wanted to throw out an offer to help troubleshoot or just even support any problem anyone is having. Or just get together and talk cars.

Let me know.

Dang, I'm about 2 and a half hours northwest of Lincoln. I could use some help with some wiring gremlins after a 98 to 99+ swap. Cheers to you for offering a helping hand!!!

Yea, that's a little to far but, what are the issues you are dealing with?

First was a no start issue, tracked that down to the theft relay not sending the signal to the starter relay. for now i just grounded that wire at the starter relay.
Next is not being able to connect to the PCM through the OBD2 port. I've verified the grounds on pins 4 and 5 as well as +12V on pin 16. I traced pin 2 all the way back to the PCM. Still stumped by this one.
Then there is the TCS issue i havent looked into yet. My biggest thing is the PCM connection issue as I have a dyno tune scheduled for July 10th.

Hey, I haven't done a 99+ swap before but I did a quick search. See link below. Sounds like you are going in the right direction, just need to check and recheck the wiring.

Good Luck. If I was closer, I wouldn't mind stopping by and lending a helping hand.
