Bigstuff3 and boost control?

I'm building a pro-charged 402, and ideally id like to have variable boost (or at least,a high and low setting). I've seen/read about the situation on using a wastegate on the charge pipe, and now JGS makes a blowoff valve that is dual port (so you can keep it open if wanted).
Bigstuff 3 has a boost control setting, and from the looks of it its based off a timer and has 3 levels. From what i gather, you have a switch control (I would assume from when you drop the clutch, or trans brake) and that starts a timer, at set times or ECU settings it adds to a ground? (the boost plug on the harness has 4 ports, 1 power 3 grounds?) and at each point it ends up increasing the boost to a desired increment.
So based on this, is it possible to have it wired to a rocker switch, and have no timer, and have it just go from a high to a low setting?
Help me out here Gurus, im new to this
