Default Tachometer wiring issue (VIDEO)

Interesting issue with my tachometer.

Anyone have a clue how to fix this?

Check the video.

This is a 2004 truck PCM DBW.
The yellow wire that I have connected to the tach in the video comes directly from pin #10 on the green connector "ENGINE SPEED SIGNAL" .

Did I remove some ground in the deletion process of all the BS ECU pins that I didn't need?

Have you tried a pullup resistor from tach wire to 12v ignition source? Usually a 1K ohm will do the job.
