Default Emissions readiness checks/catless question

Hi guys, bought my 98 TA with an AIR EGR delete, Previous owner got them tuned out. recently did an emissions test and these were the results:

System monitors
Comprehensive component --- Ready
Fuel System Performance -----Ready
Engine Misfire ---------------- Ready
A/C System --- ------Not Supported
Catalytic Converter Eff. ------ Ready
EGR Flow --- -----------------Ready
Evaporative Control ------ Not Ready
Heated Catalyst ------ Not Supported
Heated O2 Sensor ----------- Ready
Oxygen Sensor -------------- Ready
Secondairy Air System ------- Ready

Now i have headers with a catless y pipe and not sure what to do about the rear 02s. I live in IL and i think i can ony have two "not ready" checks. If I get the rear O2s tuned out what will list as "not ready"? Also if the EGR is deleted and tuned out how did it pass on the readiness check? Thanks for any help

Have them tune the O2 sensors for the rear to no errors reported and you'll be fine- you can do that for your evap as well so that shows up as ready to

Follow this walk through if you don't know what I mean - super easy and takes about 5 minutes: readiness sensor tuning

okay thanks, so just set the codes to no error reported. So i can't delete the rear O2s or else the readiness will be incomplete right? than whats after that? do i need O2 sims for the car to run right or do the rear O2s not affect air/fuel ratio?

Rear o2's don't affect the air/fuel

They simply monitor if the cat is working properly..

By setting it to 3- no error reported that is deleting it since your MIL light won't light off because it's gone..

That's it as far as deleting the rear o2's

^ Yep, you can completely unplug and remove them having them set on "no error" reported and they will still show up as ready and good to go...
