Default Will cutout affecting mail order tune

Hey guys have a 2001 Trans am mods in sig. I have a mail-order frost tune that I got done in the early spring. Will adding a cutout affect my mail order tune, and possibly thinking of pulley, along with alternator pulley. Also if it matters I will be installing the cutout by rear passenger seat. Thanks guys.

agree with 70camaroRS above... anytime you gain flow through an engine its going to affect tune - it will flow more air which typically will require more fuel - but if you have less back pressure you may be able to run leaner without running into detonation (knock retard) but the only way to know if its running in the safe zone is to get a wideband on it with the cutout open and see what you have got , should be 12.5 to 12.8afr area at wot

It depends on how restrictive your muffler is. My ctsv actually gained zero hp with cutouts but I have turbo cars gain 69-70hp opening cutouts. With just bolt ons and magnaflows it probably won't make a huge difference. Since you have a mail order tune you need to get your timing and a/f checked in person anyways so I would just get it checked with the cutout open and closed just to be safe.

Thanks for the replies fellas I appreciate it. I'll have to get a wideband and see what I'm working with.
