Default 02 sensor install

I installed (NTK part# 21537) 02 sensors, in my 02 Transam. When I did, I cleared some codes I had by taking the positive cable off. When I drive the car the idle is high, and when I push the accelerator it seems like its holding back so I cant rev the car . I tried a search...

Is anyone there? Was searching and seems I removed the wrong batt cable. Hope I did nothing bad there. Could I have a throttle body sensor that is bad? Im sorry if my questions or mistakes are sort of dumb I have a severe brain injury and that is why I have not been posting on the site in so long. I need some input. Also if so will I have to get to the pedal and look for a sensor as well or just the throttle body.

I think you should try to find a shop with a scan tool to help you, it could be any number of problems based on what you described.

The throttle position sensor is on the throttle body in an 02 Trans Am, there are no sensors on the pedal itself.

Thank you for your response. If i was in a open loop mode would it run rich and ruin my 02 sensors?

It could if there's another problem with the vehicle or tune that means it can't run the engine properly without them. Since the engine isn't stock, and I don't know who tuned it, it is possible that it would be a problem in open loop.

Oh and about the battery cable...I'm sure you didn't damage anything removing the other cable.
