cannot access CHASSIS with TECH 2

Hello

I can connect the TECH 2 and read PCM, BODY, but when I get to CHASSIS (cvrtd) I get the NO COMMUNICATION message. SO, I need assistance in tracking down the problem, resolving it to get communication to this module, so that I can investigate shock issues.

any links, procedures, tips, short cuts etc in getting this module to talk to the TECH 2 is appreciated.

What year make and model of platform are you working on. Check fuses to said module is usually the first place to start

Sorry, the vehicle is a 97 corvette coupe and in trying to diagnose a "shock inoperative, max speed 80 mph" I have not been able to communicate with the chassie CVRTD area. all other screen areas are communicating ok.

all fuses have been checked (at least in the panels). also need to know where the chassis module is located but will look in the FSM later today.

I have tried 96 to 2003 year cars in the tech 2 but the same results. I know the chassis CVRTD communicates on a 94 vet so I think it is local on the 97 with the non comm issue. my pcmcia card is good up to 2013 so I am at a loss at this point. if it does turn out to be the chassis module any info on it would be appreciated.
