EFI Live Question Does anyone know if you can map selected data from a log? I did a run at the strip and thought if I can limit it to 3rd and 4th gear I would get the best results. thanks
Are you asking if you can just take the 3rd and 4th gear part of the data log and use that part of the data log vs the full run? If thats what your asking, yes. If you open up the help file for the scan tool it have detailed instructions how to do use all the features of the scan tool.

Well the instructions aren't so good but I think I figured it out. I see all these filtering options but none by frame. I assume the computer wouldn't know what gear I was in because I have a manual. I saw that if I select frames in the dashboard section and then go to maps. In maps I select replot currently displayed maps only it seems to work so I'm good.

That will work (Maps show data from current selection).
Also:
when you look at a log chart (Dash B), you can tell where 3rd and 4th are, highlight that section, then click the Crop button (at the bottom of the scantool window), then save this as a new log file.
