Default kr question

I got it out to the track last night and I was able to bring my laptop and scan a few run's and I keep getting kr on the 1-2 shift and from there on . I think part of the problem in heat soaked iat temps and my exhuast is dynatech headers going to 2.25" turbo mufflers and full tailpipes any thoughts

You sure nothing is banging on the exhaust system?
Have you tried better fuel?
Less timing there?
Run it a bit richer?
Do you open the hood between runs?

You might as well pull timing down and see what happens. It's not going to mess up performance, it's already pulling timing for you.

I'm assuming you're running TR6 or similar heat range plugs? Are you getting oil into your intake via PCV?

yup I think you just found it for me , one of the tail pipes does rattle . I was going to pull the tail pipes and put turn downs right before the rear axle but my brother had been talking me out of it .

I did pull 2 deg of timing and wb stayed 12.50 flat throughout the whole night I didn't think adding more fuel would answer my problem

I made 4 passes and the car does have a vibration towards the top end (not bad but enough) it might be enough to kick the kr into effect now I am thinking that is problem #2

Thanks
Keith

yes I am running tr6's and when I checked after street driving no It didn't seem like it was but you did just remind me to add a oil catch can to the pcv system I had forgot about that one

Thanks
