On my 1997 LT1/4, I'm trying to diagnose why I'm not getting any spark. While diagnosing the MSD box, I saw this loose connector. It fits exactly like the coil harness connector. However, when doing the white wire MSD test, it wouldn't make the MSD box produce a spark at the coil wire.

The car has been down for a few years. I've been trying to figure our why I'm not getting any spark at the plugs, even after replacing the cap & rotor. The car was converted to speed density for the turbo setup, and I *think* it was converted to an OBD1 PCM, but I'm trying to verify that. I'll make a separate thread for that.

Can someone help identify what it is?

The pic is blurry .. also your best bet is to trace the wires back to the pcm and see what number they goto on the back of the pcm and verify with a pinout.

Going by the connector style and wire colors it would seem to be for a Mass Air Flow sensor. Pink +12v, Black gnd, Yellow MAF signal.

MAF it is! And, since I don't have a MAF anymore, that's a good reason for it to be not connected. haha
