Default Which computer for swap

I have been using the 0411 for my engine swaps, I just got a 2010 LS3 should I swap the reluctor and cam gear or go with a newer computer? What are some Pro's and Con's? I had a tough time with the EFIlive Virtual VE tuning on the newer cars.
Thanks

I would use an E38 ecm and run it DBW like factory. VVE isnt going away so if you are tuning your going to have to learn it eventually anyways.

I was leaning in the direction of E38, unless someone said "well you don't want to use that (E38) because of this." I am fairly well versed at swaps but have not done a DBW swap yet. I am going to look for some harness options, thanks for the reply and if anyone else chimes in that would be great!

Atleast 90% of the swaps we tune are E38 since most shops we do tuning for are using LS3's. The learning curve is a little harder on the DBW swaps but it can be made much easier by just using the right company for your parts. We send customers to Speartech when they need standalone harnesses or other parts for the E38 swaps. Speartech will take great care of you and make sure your harness, ecm, pedal, TB, etc are right. E38 swaps are a nightmare when those components are not right (happens alot buying parts from multiple places).

Will look into that. Thanks for the advice! I am going to put an LS3 with a 4l80 into a 70 GTO.
