Map maxed out at 50kpa?
Hi Guys,
There's something bugging me for some time...
On my 98 LS1 swapped (98pcm) firebird, the MAP reads no more than 50KPA. Have thought about maybe a 2BAR MAP is what i have but checked my p/n 12614970 as it belongs to a LM7 it says.
Can somebody chime in and give me a hint?
My scan is as attached.
Thanks in advance
Mert

I somehow changed the MAP configuration to Intake Manifold Presseure(SAE) and the rest of the table came back actually. I am just a novice who knows nothing but craving to move forward on Hp Tuners. That's why i'm full of trial and errors so bea with me please. The truth is i don't even know what a PID is and I don't know how You can even create a custom PID.
Anyway. Here's the same log with the changed configuration. Hope you don't mind checking it out.
I HAVE TO learn what this Hp Tuners is all about before i finish my twin turbo setup.

Delete your user defined GM 1 Bar Map pid from your table display. As its stuck at ~36 KPA, so the chart display averages the GM 1 Bar Pid & the Intake Manifold Pressure SAE pid values.
And on the 1998's, you need to lower the scanner bytes to no more than 24. or use the new 3.0 scanner.
