Default Computer loses power

Computer loses memory
My car 2000 trans am will randomly lose its idle and the codes will be cleared. I have looked for a short or lose connection but can't find any. This has been going on for 3 or 4 years now and has happened about 5 or 6 times. The last time it happend was the other day at the grocery store. The car was off for 5 or 6 minutes at the most and when I started it it had to relearn idle and all the codes were cleared. (No egr, air, or rear O2's).

I'm thinking the computer has to be losing power somehow to reset itself unless I am accidentally resetting it.

Does anyone have any ideas where to look next or what's going on here?

that doesn't seem like enough time to clear the memory. I thought the PCM needed to be off for 20 minutes for that to happen. Either you have some weird electrical stuff screwing with the PCM or the PCM is bad.

if you have a short to ground in the PCM power supply it'll drain the internal battery.
I wired my wideband wrong and it would do this.
