Default Tuning 42# green tops.

So I'm not doing the tuning but was told that I should put my stock injectors back in tune for the new heads and cam then reinstall the green tops and adjust? I'm just wondering if I should go ahead and swap back to my stocks before I take it for the tune. I just put a btr stage 4 cam and stock 243 heads.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks

yes, put stock injectors back in (i.e. to match the IFR table in your current/stock tune), and drive to your tuner like this.

The tuner is coming to my house to do the tune. I'm just having a street tune done.

Since the guy is coming to you, go ahead and install the new injectors before he gets there. Leak test the fuel system.

There isn't any reason to tune first with old injectors. That just adds more work to re-adjust with the new injectors. Theoretically you can change the 7 injector tables and not have to adjust anything else, but, yeah that's theoretically.

Also, measure rail pressure, make sure it's correct.
