Problems after tuning
Problems after tuning I got my ls swap 1999 4.8l heads cam intake headers and stall converter (4l60e) tuned last week and we had it on the dyno for hours. And it ran and started fine the last several times we started it. But when I was going to load it on the trailer to take it home I couldn't get the truck to start. My tuner came over and plugged in said the 2bar map sensor wasn't reading anything. I checked the sensor and plug seemed fine. He decided to try and reflash the tune. It started right back up. Drove home (an hour and 20 min one way) and got the truck off the trailer fine. Shut it off. A few min later I go to start it and drive it into the garage (long day with my pregnant wife) it wouldn't start again. Do you guys think my pcm is bad or???
The MAP sensor reading isn't going to register with the engine not running. More than likely that isn't your problem.
Some diagnostic codes will not report until the second error, but I can't think of what besides security would keep the engine from starting. Have you tried disconnecting the battery (both positive and negative terminals) and then touch the positive and negative cables together (without connection to the battery). That could help clear any diagnostic codes in the ECM.
