Throwing P0342
Now I've just gone over the wiring.
The two outside wires have been switched and worked for over a year
Had voltage
Ground was fine
And had continuity on the signal wire
I just checked duty cycle at idle and it only fluctuated from 97-99% and from what I've read it should be between 45-55%. Do you guys think it's just a bad sensor? I'm assuming it's the sensor since it started throwing codes with the old cam, which worked fine for over a year and when I tore it down the cam bolts were not backed out. That and the fact that I installed the new cam with the correct torque and loctite. The same cam gear was used that worked for over a year so I'm assuming that's the correct gear, which only leaves the sensor. Let me know what you think. The cam sensor that I have is the dark gray/black sensor. Does anyone have the part number for the correct sensor. Gen IV block for 99 camaro-24x reluctor.
