Default tune locked? speed density using maf?

i had my car tuned last year by a reputable shop. The car was supposed to be tuned using 3 bar speed density. I still had my maf hooked up when they tuned the car as it was the only way to drive the car at the time. When i got home i tried to remove the maf only to find out the car wouldnt run. I continued to run the car last year with the maf hooked up and everything was working great, until i had some oiling issues and spun a bearing. So after a long winter rebuild using all the same parts with new bearings/machine work the car is back running again. I purchaced hp tuners so i could re-calibrate my speedo as i changed gearing over winter also. This is when i noticed that the OS system is locked as well as a tuner lock.

here are a few questions i have if someone would be so kindly to answer:
1) what all does this tuner lock do? does it not show all tables that can be edited or just not allow me change any tables?

2)why would the operating system be locked?

3)the operating system shows 3 bar speed density, so why will the car not run with the maf unplugged? I am also getting a p0101 dtc

4)the car is running very rich on decel, sometimes between 11-12:1. This leads to loading up and popping after i get back in the throttle. Any ideas here, i dont remember it doing this last year?

5)lastly i took some data logs the other day and noticed that my map sensor is maxed out at 105 kpa on the logs and will not read higher. I have a 3 bar map sensor so why is this happening?

i can post the tune file and data logs if needed.

If you can read the file and look at it it is not locked. Applying a COS to any stock file will display that it is OS Mod Locked with HP Tuners. If you have a 3 bar map and it is set up properly in the file and all you can log is 105 kPa then you are probably not logging the correct PID. And just having the COS installed does not automatically make it run in SD mode. You can run a SD COS with a MAF enabled. You should probably post the file to see what it is really set up as.

Its set for 3 BAR SD, you will always have a MAF code in SD. I changed this tune so your light wont come for the code. This tune the MAF is 100% deleted, so it should run the same with the MAF plugged in or unplugged if it was tuned in SD which it looks like it was.

thanks lsx power tuning, i will give this tune a try then. It looks like you just disabled p0101, p0102, and po103 dtc's as well as zeroed out the airflow vs frequency table?

i also believe i figured out my problem with the datalogger not reading over 105kpa. I realized that i did not have the correct channels setup for it read correctly. i changed some things around and will try and do a data log tomorrow and see if it works. Now i just need to figure out why its going so rich on decel.
also 2 other things:
1)i still have my factory o2 sensors in place, is there any reason why i shouldnt enable closed loop operation and enable short term fuel trims?
2)is it normal for the car to go very rich on spool up even though im not really seeing boost (1-2psi), is this just a trade off of being safe if the turbo would spool too fast and the fueling wouldnt be there? Its just kind of annoying if im driving around not gettting into boost but just on the edge where it starts dumping fuel in.
