Hey all. I am going to tune my own pickup and need somewhere to start. It will be road tuned so I'm wanting something that will get my project moving well enough for me to drive and then make adjustments from there.

It's a 5.3, gen 4 flat tops, 862 heads, ls2 cam, thin head gasket. Static compression is 10.7:1

I'm thinking with the mix of compression and cam, but smaller cubes, a factory tune from like a 01-02 camaro would at least get me moving.

Thoughts? Recommendations?

Make sure you get a tune with the proper injector data. I am sure if you look through the hptuners repository you can find something close.

I plan to run stock truck rails and injectors. I'm assuming I could just scale the injector tables to compensate for the ls1/lm7 injector size difference. If i scale this paramater appropriately, should it work fairly well?
