Need help Ok so I have a stock 99 camaro except for catback so I did I started to mod the car I did a catback, egr/air delete,new powder coated valve cover, metco breather, msd spark plug wires, plugs, mike Norris catch can. So now my car is idling super rough to the point where it feels like i have a cam when I dont. Smoke is coming from the breather and under load the car hesitates really bad. I went thru and checked plugs and wires were tight checked pcv connection looks good so could it just be from the egr? I know I have to get the codes tuned out but the car should still run alright. So any ideas thanks
PCV is a closed system.Adding the breather made it an open system. And without knowing how you plumbed in the catch can you may have a huge vacuum leak. You could also have exhaust leaks with the AIR delete or both exhaust and/or vacuum leaks with the EGR delete.
