HELP! Flex fuel conversion on fbody problem
HELP! Flex fuel conversion on fbody problem so I'm trying to convert my 02 trans am to flex fuel, I wired the pink wire to ignition power, the black to ground, and white to blue connector pin 71.. when the system Is activated it shows 37.6% of alcohol even when I have not put any E85 in the tank. ive checked power and ground at the connector and everything checks out, I checked continuity between connector on flex fuel sensor and pin 71 and shows solid continuity.. is there a way to check the sensor to see if its bad? btw I'm tuning illiterate and any information given I will pass it on to my tuner.. thanks for any help ladies and gents

What is the default percentage set at in the PCM?
Also on the newer 1mb green/blue pcm`s the pcm only checks the alcohol percentage after it sees an increase in fuel level while the car is shut off. Try adding at least 3 gallons of gas to the tank while the car is shut off and then see if it takes a new reading.
