idle TPS % increase after getting warm?!
idle TPS % increase after getting warm?! Stock 5.3 with 150k and supercharger. Commanded idle is 600rpms, TPS Voltage is 0.55v at idle closed throttle, TPS% = 0.0%. Car idles close to commanded idle with 15 IAC counts at 133*F coolant temp. Drive the car for alittle and get temps up to 176*F... TPS voltage now 0.57v at closed throttle idling with 13.7% TPS and 70 IAC counts and never drops. Idle is now hot 800rpms and it wont drop back down to 600 or .55v/0.0%. TPS voltage seems good with the throttle and doesnt bounce around... just stays up after getting hot causing a 200rpm idle increase.
I have yet to figure this out. Using HPTuners to scan and log. Its almost like the TPS is bad after getting hot or the IAC is hanging up.
I'm going to uplug the TPS and turn key on for 30s, then shut off and plug TPS back in for a relearn. Will have to get home and pull the IAC and clean it to see if its hanging up.
Do I need a new TPS and IAC? I checked for intake vacuum leaks with starting fluid and got nothing a month or 2 ago. I think its weird that it goes up after getting warm.
