Which HP tuners package
Which HP tuners package Im looking into getting HP tuners so i can data log my runs at the track and make adjustments accordingly for my own car which package would be best? I already have a AEM wideband sensor but im not sure if i need the suite pro package or will the standard be fine. The car is a 99 Trans am thanks
The Pro makes it easier to hook your wideband up since you can plug the wideband right into the Pro. The standard doe not have any way to plug anything into it. If your wideband has serial out then you could get by with the standard. Feel free to call if you have questions. We keep HPT in stock.
OK I finally got around to checking my air fuel ratio gauge it is AEM Wideband UEGO Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge Kits 30-4110 from Summit is this compatible for tuning with HP tuners? Thanks
Don't forget the added functionality of extra analog inputs on the pro MPVI. Considering the cost of hard parts that can break if not tuned and monitored correctly, a few extra bucks on your tuning package is money well spent. That being said, there are workarounds for almost anything, but what is your time worth?
That will work for serial logging with HPT PRO or standard with a USB/serial adapter.
