Need HELP!! TPS low voltage P1122 & P0122 codes
Hello Guys. '00 Z/28 A4 basically stock. I was driving home the other day and car was running great. I left a stop and goosed it a little and all of a sudden the check engine light came on and it started running different. I had the ASR disabled at the time and now the ASR OFF light stays on all the time and cannot shut it off. I scanned the system and get the P1122 and P0122 lights indicating the TPS has low voltage. Searching the forums all I could find was to change the TPS. Put new TPS on and same problem. With the key on engine off the TPS is showing .0v in the closed and WOT position. And shows -0.10v at idle. I'm lost! Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Since there is a negative reading at idle would that point towards a bad ground or something else? I tried two different TPS sensors and even swapped in my sons '02 SS ECM. That netted the ASR and check engine light shutting off. But after about 10 seconds of idling the ASR OFF light came back on.

Okay. I've checked all the fuses thinking it might be that simple. No luck. They're all good. I hooked the positive side to the battery and checked the ground at the TPS and I got 12v, so it's good. But the grey 5v feed wire is dead! I probed two grey wires coming out of the ECM blue side and both had 5v. Not sure they're the right ones as I'm shooting in the dark at this point! ANY HELP????

Have you started checking the ground connections in the engine bay and also the ones behind the heads? I don't know which one is for the TPS, but I was chasing this same issue recently. The ASR light is related to the TPS code, so don't worry about that one.
I *think* my issue was fixed by using the throttle body blade adjustment screw to close it back down a bit. I had it opened too much to fix a different issue, which I think was causing it to throw the code. I never had the zero or negative voltage issue though.
