GTO harness and ecu

First post guys so go easy on me. I have an 01 ss Camaro roller that had a t56. I just purchased an 04 GTO LS1 and t56, came with harness and ecu. My question is do I use the gto ecu and harness or do I order a harness and ecu from psi? I would really love to use the gto harness but if I can't then I can't. I just don't want to throw money away on a new setup. Next question is, if I can use the gto harness do I need to just take the ecu to gm and have them flash it? Thanks for any help with this.

GTOs and F-bodies do a lot of things different as far as control so could you use it yes but you would need a lot a lot of wiring changes and some custom tuning and even then you would still have some issues. You would be better off selling the harness and PCM and buying an f-body one
