LS1 Swap Harness & ECU
LS1 Swap Harness & ECU Going to be going forth with getting a LS back in a 2000 Z28 that had the drivetrain swapped out for a restomod project.
The Car- 2000 Camaro Z28 6 speed
The Engine Trans and Harness were taken out of the car in order to swap it over to an older Camaro. The car still has a interior harness and what not in it.
I have the chance to pick up a harness and ECU out of a 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 4.8. Would that ECU and harness pair up and work with a plane jane 5.7 LS1?
Or is it going to give me issues with the Electronic TB ? or any other unseen issues it may have ?

If you are attempting to essentially convert the vehicle back to stock and all the factory connectors are still in tact then you need a harness from a 99-02 camaro that matches your transmission. No other harness has the correct body plugs for your setup.
