I've got a 95 TA 383 lt1. Just got this car back together and I've got some codes I need to clear as well as troubleshoot. The problem is that my code reader will not work. I know all about the obd1 with the obd2 connector. The thing is, is that I've read codes on this before at my local parts store however I don't remember which code reader it was. It was not a wire jumper for obd1 it was an actual scanner. I've tried jumping the wires with the obd1 and I've tried innova scanner neither of which worked. I'm tired of trying to rig up something to work. Please can someone give the name of a scanner that will work or maybe my ECM is fried as well.
