Hello, does anyone have an infrared thermometer to measure surface temperature? I had one for my home to measure the heat loss in my walls but did not think to check the intake manifold temperature before I pulled the manifold. Now I'm ready to put a heat shield on the bottom of the LS6 manifold and I'm not sure if there is actual reduction of heat in the intake from the heat shield. Any experience with the heat shield?
