Default WOT AFR numbers

I have an 02 SS with a cam, heads and exhaust set up. Long story short is i'm getting about 13.2 WOT on the wide band. That seems pretty lean to me and i'm wondering if that's a common thing for LS cars. I'm used to Mustang Mod motors which we get around 11.9 - 12.5 tops at WOT.

Any thoughts?

It's a bit lean. You want something closer to 12.8:1 or less.

That's what I was thinking I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something about the LS1's that allow them to comfortably run that lean. The car doesn't have any KR but it's suppose to be an 11.1 motor so I'd like to get that under control.

Most setups make the most power in the 12.6-12.8 range (assuming stoich of 14.7), typically running 12.6 around max torque and 12.8 at max HP.

Remember that your Wideband is actually measuring LAMBDA and then converts it to AFR by multiplying by 14.67. (If that confuses you, don't worry about it.)
