Help me!!! DBW system won't work on E40 Hello everyone, i'm from italy and fist of all sorry for my poor english.
I have a 2005 LS2 from a Corvette with T56 transmission and E40 ECM. I fitted the engine on a Jeep with TH400 transmission. I got a stand alone wiring harness from a supplier and start to modify the ECM tune erasing VATS, o2 sensors, evap system etc. with HP Tuners sofware. The engine, computer and gas pedal come from the same car and it works well before take it off.
When I got the wiring harness form the supplier, I've installed it but the engine won't start, no fuel pump signal. After some test I check the pinout and the blue connectors was completely assembled upside down from the supplier. I've mirrored the pinout matching the correct one. Now the car start, stay at idle but wont accelerate.
- I tried to accelerate with VCM Scanner on the idle function and it work fine.
- I checked the TPS on the scanner and the value increase when gas pedal is pressed.
- I checked the volts on APP1 and APP2 at the gas pedal and it works correctly.
- The throttle body seems work correctly
I tried to rewrite the oem tune with just the VATS off to make sure that nothing have changed from the oem but no results.
Please if some guru can watch it and let me know his though it will be very helpful.
