I got a car that had a 58x shannon taylor harness, and my motor is a 24x. Any insight to swapping this over to work? Ive heard the wires for the cam sensor are longer and are 5v insted of 12? Would I need to rework some wires and get a new connector? Has someone done this before, just looking for some help?

The camshaft sensor mounted in the front timing cover is the same sensor for 24x and 58x Gen IV engines (1x or 4x reluctor wheels) so it is compatible with 12v or 5v power (obviously not the same sensor as was mounted at the back of the block on the Gen III engines).
The crank sensors are not the same between the 24x and the 58x engines. Fairly certain even if you are using Megasquirt you want the correct sensor for the particular reluctor wheel you are using. The crank sensor connector is also different between the two so your harness might need changed.
