P2138 - various opinions...
I purchased the wiring kit (wiring, pedal, MAF, PCM, ECM, etc...all stuff needed) from a LS1Tech sponsor.
I worked with a tech at Spectre who configures what components a person needs for their Air Intake systems to get my components for the air intake. I have one of these at the end of the 4" pipe with the MAF in it, and the MAF is rotated to the bottom.
The component vendor says that if the MAF is not pretty much in the position that it was for a stock engine (they programmed the PM for a Silverado, even though this is a LS3...due to not having the tranny that normally hooks to an LS3), then the variability can cause this problem. So they say it should be ~6" from the TB,and be pointing up (180° from what it is at).
I called Spectre and talked to the tech there, and he said it makes no difference the orientation or distance from the TB. The MAF does need to be sealed good. He said it is likely either the pedal, or a break/poor connection on one of the wires. He suggested I do a contineuity test on the same colored wires at each end of the harness (pedal/TB).
Thoughts?

I'll call them again tomorrow.
