Positive fuel trims before starting engine Anyone know what would cause the LTFT to read positive before even starting the engine?
This is a 2002 silverado 5.3 swap. It didn't do this until recently, and nothing has been changed.

They have been 2.3 +/- a few points. The problem is they tend to stick there the whole drive.
I've been having fuel pressure problems, it was too high causing negative trims. Installed an adjustable fpr set to factory specs of 58 psi and back to stock fuel tables and trims are positive. This is a 2002 5.3. Neither of my 2001 or 2002 ls1 camaros do this.
So do you think this will stop when I get the trims back to negatives or out of the positive range?

If you have EFI Live or HPTuners or even some scanners, reset the fuel trims and see if they come back. They are purely an average driven by the short term trims. If you can, always shoot for 0 or slightly negative. Play with the VE/MAF table until you get it exactly right but make sure you are doing one while the other is turned off.
