Supercharged TVR needs some attitude
Evening Gents, Greetings from across the pond.
A few year ago I built myself a TVR Cerbera with an 1999 LS1 and T56, GM ECU.
Its fitted with a Harrop 112 supercharger and made 580bhp a few years ago, weighs 1070kg (2300lbs) and out runs Ferrari Enzo's! see YouTube clip below, listen to that blower!!
I'm just getting it back on the road, new daughter has stopped me playing for a couple of years!!
Just trying to iron out the last small issues and one is driving me crazy.
A TVR Cerbera's USP is the loud popping and banging it makes on the overrun throughout the rev range, I've been trying for years to get the LS1 to do the same, Yes it does it to a certain degree, dual 3" exhaust without CATs is good but I cant get it to do it throughout the rev range.
I've disabled DFCO and added negative timing in the cells where the car is in coastdown, my issue is the car commands negative timing below 2300rpm popping and banging great but above this it will only command 0 deg of timing even with negative numbers in the tune. no pops and bangs at 0 deg.
I've captured it in the log below, repeated coastdowns, you can see the 0 deg then once below 2300rpm it commands negative numbers pops and banging great, cant figure it out, what am I missing??
Thanks in advance.
