Differences between a manual and automatic computers?????
Differences between a manual and automatic computers????? I have two 98 Camaro PCM's; one came from a manual trans car and the other from an automatic; the problem; I put them together and now I don't know the difference between them; which is the manual trans one and which is the automatic car one. How can I differentiate them??????
But how I know which one is correct for an A4 car vs a manual one? I'm planning to sell them but if someone request the manual one, how I know which one is the correct, so doesn't have any problem?
Other than reading the tune and checking it in the tuning software, the only other way to know is to hook them in a A4 car and test it.
Of course the manual PCM will not work and the transmission will go to limp mode and won't shift.
