New used pcm

Probably a stupid question but if my PCM is tunerlocked can i just get another used PCM and tune it to my car and also put the VIN number in the computer. NYS inspection reads the VIN in the PCM to verify the car being tested is in fact the same car as the car presented. thanks in advance.

Yes you can. Hptuners has a change vin thing just for this. It will have to be liscensed tho iirc.

Any one in Arizona that can change VIN on 0411 PCM's? I have HPT but it will not change the VIN unless the doner and the new VIN are both licensed... I have a Tech II but don't know how to use it for this function. I have two unlicensed PCM's That I want to convert to my HPT licensed VIN.

Vin change

Old thread but I can change vins, change mileage delete vats. Delete dod , tune, program modules , change operating systems , example speed density 2 bar, transmission segment swaps, ect
