Stock ls3 tuning for swap help please!
I bought a ls3 and tr6060 combo from a 2011 camaro I got from a wrecking yard dealer. They have the vats tuned out already and im using a stand alone harness. The car is still running a dbw throttle but I'm using a return line system.
That's the part that confuses me. The stock pump came powered through a electronic regulator because of returnless factory system. I've read that there is a need to tune the computer for this?
Will the car run and drive without tuning it for that?
I'm also not running the evap solenoid that goes to the intake behind the throttle body and have capped the throttle body nipple.
The engine will have mid/short headers and a single 3" system with no cats and only the front o2 sensors and a k&n cold air intake tube with filter.
My goal is to have the car tuned to optimize mileage and power but before that I need to drive it about 3 miles to a car show and home.
Will it run and drive for this? Could I drive it a couple hours to a tuner or should I get a mail order tune then drive to the tuner? Does it need to be tuned through the obd port or do you plug into the computer directly?

You could remove the manifold-reference hose from the FPR (until you get someone to flatten the IFR table).
Make sure rail pressure is 58 psi (with reference hose removed).
