Default P0401 code

Hey everyone. I got a P0401 code (egr flow insufficient). Anyone else ever have this before? If so, how did you fix it? I looked inside my egr valve and it definately has carbon, but nowhere near being clogged. The sides of the tubing are lightly coated. I cleaned off what I could and the light is still on. Any help would be appreciated.

did you do anything to reset the light after you cleaned it off, like unhooking the battery, or having a mechanic reset it?

Haven't reset it. The last time I had an ses light and fixed the problem it turned off on it's own. I guess I was assuming the same, but i'll unhook the battery for a while and see what happens. Thanks.
