Tuning idle/false knock
And on the false knock, what is there for solutions to this? Running 24° timing. 91 octane fuel. Wot at around 4800, its pulling out 8°. Revving it up in the driveway with no load on it, it'll pull 1-2°. I read something about it could be from exhaust noise. What's the solution? Read about the lt4/lt1 knock modules. Are those something thats an option in an 02 2500hd? Just looking for ideas
then check the knock sensor harness. wiggle and watch the KR
if thats not fixing it, only then should you begin messing with the knock sensitivity settings
