98 Camaro Electrical Problem Hey guys, I have a 98 Camaro LS1 that's been having some weird electrical problems. It's been driving me nuts trying to figure it out. It all started with the car just randomly turning off when driving down the road, no sputter or hesitation, it just died instantly. It would usually start back up but sometimes would amtaje a minute or two. While this was happening, the gauges would flutter, all of the gauges, and move around a little bit. I got it back to my house luckily, but now it will not start at all, it will crank but will not fire. I do not hear the fuel pump priming when I turn the key, so I checked and I am not getting voltage at the fuel pump. I tried swapping the fuel relay with the horn relay because I know the horn works, and it didn't turn the fuel pump on. Also when I turn the key to the run position my odometer doesn't turn on and my battery gauge does not move. I'm not sure what it could be yet. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
I would check all connections "ground" and "positive".
I'm not sure about your Camaro but most GM cars and trucks have a positive cable that runs from the battery to the fuse box and it's not getting a good connection it will cause all sorts of issues.
