Default 85mm MAF and Tuning

I just had my car tuned by Doug Rippie Motorsports in the Twin Cities. I'm very happy with the tune. The car runs great. One of the future mods I have planned is an 85mm MAF and larger air coupler. My question is am I better off to get the 85mm MAF with the resistor to change it to the older calibration or get a regular 85mm and wait until the next time I get it tuned to install it? At this point I'm thinking the MAF and air bridge may be a restriction and at the very least it will get rid of having the IAT right over the radiator. Will a recalibrated 85mm show any gains or am I better off waiting? I do have HPTuners, but I'm guessing that just plugging in the values for the 85mm MAF will do more harm than good. Any help is appreciated.

Joel
