Default no MAF values when scanning

NOOB to HPtuner and swapped an 08 TBSS into 68 Camaro. Bought a harness from a sponsor after I caught a reworked stock harness on fire from welding, (won't rework another one!). I had motor running on stand and it was running really rich then, put it in the car, ran rich. I have an LS3/7 card type MAF, FAST 90mm, 1 5/8" long tube Hookers, 232/236 @.050 114*, LS2 silver blade. Still has the stock tune loaded. So, when I scanned the engine running there was no movement in the MAF values, shouldn't those values be changing as RPM's change? Or could it turned off somehow? Sorry for the DUHHH questions but I'm just getting into this tuning phase.

That's possible, but again, the new harness is plug n play. And it was running rich with the stock harness. I'll keep digging and post results. Thanks for the feedback.

Regardless if the connector plugs in the MAF sensor gets wired differently on an LS3 Card Style vs. a 2008 Truck/G8 style MAF.

Provide the pinout of your MAF if possible. The letters are marked on your MAF connector. If the MAF is pinned wrong you should also get a check engine light.

Yes it can be turned off in the tune but if it's "stock" it shouldn't be. However if it was "stock" due to VATS and some other things I don't know if it would even start.

It's time to break out a wiring diagram and the DVOM
