Default 98 body with 99+ harness?

I have a 2000 ls1/t56 with all the wiring and ecm. What do I need to do to make it work on the 1998 Trans am body, since I heard they are different?

Anyone? Will the 2000 engine harness plug right up to the 98 body harness or do I need to modify it? And where does the engine harness plug into

it's a pain in the ***. you have to repin the ecu unless you can put the 99+ body harness in the 98 car. i've been there done that you're better off buying a standalone ecu at this point in the time and headache you'll have in it

You will need to change the dash harness and cluster to plug in or do alot of re-wiring.
