Hey guys,

I just finished a 5.3 swap into my 69 chevelle. Its running and am at the point of getting a base tune. I emailed Texas speed my stock pcm file (using stock truck pcm) and they told me they will not be able to help me. Im stumped. What has to be changed that im running?

What ECU you running!?

Ill double check tomorrow when I get to the shop. Its the stock pcm from the truck i bought the engine from. I believe it was a 99-02 avalanche. Im running psi conversion harness too. Is there a certain PCM I have to or should be using?

Pm sent.. I assume you mean card style MAF sensor and not electronic throttle body

no they should have been able to tune it without any problems. I don't understand why they cant.

Did they give any reason why they couldn't do it?
If not I would be calling them to find out...

tried calling with no answer. I got help from a forum member for the tune! loaded it up today, so far so good. I guess because im running the newer style corvette MAF its hard to tune with the pcm being used
