4L80E soft 2-3 shift?
4L80E soft 2-3 shift? The trans has been rebuilt without a shift kit and has a Yank 3600 converter. I have been playing with the shift speeds to firm up the 1-2 and helped a bunch, but the shift speed trick doesn't seem to be helping much on the 2-3. Before playing with the shift speeds you would have thought the trans had only one gear as they were so soft. I understand the converter can absorb a lot of the shift, but 1-2 is nice, 2-3 you can hardly tell it shifted, and overdrive I can feel. Shifting manually makes things better. Frost did the initial tune and I have been playing with it since.
Can someone look at my trans tune and see what they think? Or share a trans tune they know shifts nicely? I am trying to figure out if it's a tuning issue or a hardware in the trans issue.
