Hi guys,

This past week I noticed when I get into the throttle there's a lot of hesitation. At WOT the hesitation is very noticeable. Idle bouncing around a lot. Seems like the car is running on 7 cylinders as the exhaust sounds different. Tonight when I started the car up it popped one time. I remember the last time I had bad plugs and running on 7 cylinders it was popping really bad.

I hooked up HP tuners and saw that P1637 code is coming up which I've researched a lot on the internet. I'm wondering if anyone has had this code show up and had bad plugs or plug wires instead of the alternator. The alternator is not old. I'm going to change the spark plugs and plug wires. Just wondering if I'm going down the right path here.
