maf table on 3bar why is it that in all my boosted engines I have to modify the first box is the maf table to get the engine to start? I set it to 10.00. just seems odd on 3 bar. and shoulkd I be changing them all? is there a way to scale the whole table?
It's a quirk in the controller. The maf curve is used until the maf fails. With no maf signal, the lowest cell is referenced.
This is true even on a custom SD OS. As long as you're using a OE ECU the maf has to fail out before it runs pure SD.
Putting 10 in that cell just gives you fuel until the maf fails. I always use 15, because on cold start there's a lot more air demand vs warm idle.
