need help!!!!! tuning isnt right........

need help!!!!! tuning isnt right........ I am looking for starting points here to look at......
I have a 232/236 cam with stock MAF and have not been able to get the tuning right......
Some questions..........
What should TPS voltage be? I am at .74
What should IAC Grams per sec be? I am at 3.9x
What should IAC position be? I am at 12-14
When the car is hot I start her up and she surges.....I have to give her gas until she picks up by herself....When I put her in Reverse it dies.....
any sugestions would be greatly appreciated
